Jackie Ballin, PA-C
Jackie Ballin, PA-C was born & raised in the Peninsula. As an elite high school field hockey athlete, she received both Athletic and Academic Scholarships to Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She was a two time captain of the women’s field hockey team, and in her senior season was awarded Offensive Player of the Year by the NCAA Division II East Coast Conference and received the NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award. She graduated summa cum laude on her Bachelors Degree.
Jackie graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at the New York Institute of Technology with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She received numerous awards including the Academic Excellence Award and the Clinical Education Performance Award.
Jackie returned to the Bay Area and worked previously for a prominent East Bay Dermatology Group. Her unique experiences given her athletic background has strengthened her ability to communicate with her patients and enhance a team-based approach to her patient care. She thoroughly enjoys educating her patients, and treating various dermatologic conditions from skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions. For her cosmetic patients, she emphasizes a rejuvenated, but natural appearance. Jackie is compassionate to all her patients and consistently works to ensure they have the best experience possible when addressing both their medical and cosmetic concerns.
Jackie loves to spend time outdoors- whether hiking the beautiful mountains surrounding the Bay Area, or heading to the beach in Santa Cruz (wearing sunblock, of course!). She enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She loves watching all kinds of sports, especially football.
