Roxane Scemla, MD

Dr. Scemla is a Board-Certified Family Physician. She completed her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she dedicated a large amount of her time to non-invasive cosmetic surgery and has since specialized in the field for over 15 years. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. As proud member of the American Association of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Scemla is recognized as a master injector, having trained over 2000 healthcare providers nationwide.

After finishing residency in 2009, Dr. Scemla worked in an urgent care setup and teamed up with clinic owners to kick off the Aesthetic side of the business. Later, she set up her own practice in sunny Miami, Florida.

In 2014, Dr. Scemla moved to Hawaii, starting up the first Aesthetic Medicine Program at the Four Seasons, Maui. She gained recognition nationwide, drawing patients from all corners. While keeping up with local patients on Maui, in 2020, she shifted gears to focus more on education and training.

Dr. Scemla has a soft spot for neurology, treating facial paralysis with botulinum toxin, and generously handling pro-bono cases like Bell’s Palsy, Ramsey Hunt Syndrome, and systemic Lyme disease.

Born in Paris, France, Dr. Scemla is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, and English. When not lecturing or training healthcare providers nationwide, she enjoys spending time at home on Maui. She is an avid painter and artist, a passionate free diver, and an ocean advocate.
